Professor Yasser Roudi is awarded the Fridjof Nansen prize for young scientists.
Roudi receives the prize for his work within the field of theoretical neuroscience.
Roudi is group leader at the Kavli Institute/Centre for Neural Computation at NTNU.
The award will be presented at the annual meeting of The Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters on 5 May. The award is 50 000 NOK, and goes to an excellent young researcher under 40 years of age.
The prize will be presented by the Chair of the Board for the Nansen Fund, professor Øyvind Østerud form the Universitety of Oslo
